For the community: LAIA Promotes Health Fair, Alternative Medicine, Art Fairs, as well as New York Resources Fair (business, arts and health), etc.
Program: - LOVE AND RESPECT FOR THE EARTH: L.A.I.A. has always promoted workshops with ecology as a center theme but now we are giving a stronger focus to this theme.
We are trying to get other not for profit organizations in a forum where we can discuss solutions within the community for the problem of global warming and also find a way to raise consciousness about this issue and discuss ways how each one of us can participate and how our communities could also participate to alleviate the global warming problem. This workshop that took place at LAIA was the first one of a series of workshops that will take place here. We are also planning to include whole families and to also take these workshops to other cities and communities, as well as to take this issue to the local schools and do a work to raise awareness through drawings, paintings, collage, etc.
In all these projects our clear mission is to serve the community and transform it in a big family where trust can be restored and unite its citizens and live in a place where tolerance is an indispensable word.
Our vision is to create spaces where the multiculturalism is a goal for learning and growth and that we could integrate the community through its cultures.
